our story
God’s Timing
Our story started back in high school. As teenagers we dated briefly, our young hearts full of promise but not yet ready for one another. Life pulled us in different directions and we parted ways, each carving out our own paths, unaware that fate had more in store for us and that our teenage infatuation was just the opening chapter of our story.
Seventeen years later, in a moment of divine timing, our worlds collided once again. A bit older and a few lives later, we quickly bonded over similarities of our years apart, the biggest one being that we each felt we truly found ourselves when we became parents and were each blessed with such strong-willed, beautiful, incredible daughters.
Our chance encounter sparked a connection that felt both familiar and entirely new. What started as a nostalgic catch up soon blossomed into something deeper, as if no time had passed at all. A feeling that can only be described as if the universe was holding its breath all those years, waiting for us to reconnect. We quickly became inseparable and our bond grew stronger than ever. Grounded in shared memories, our faith and a newfound appreciation for each other, our hearts intertwined in a way we never could have imagined as teenagers. We both felt it deep in our souls; this was God’s timing, bringing us back together when we were ready to truly cherish each other. Every laugh, every late night talk, and every shared dream has built a love that feels like it was always meant to be.
As we prepare to say “I do” we couldn’t be more grateful for every step, every twist & turn, and every moment that led us back to each other. Now ready for our forever, and blessed that we get to celebrate with our close friends and family.
